Traditional pastry

 

When you see this photo, you may have a wonder what it is. Actually, it is a traditional pastry made by Chinese herbage called Paederia scandens. Although it does not look very well, it has heating-clearing and detoxifying effect. Nowadays, this pastry is rarely seen in Hong Kong already due to long preparation time and low demand.
